Climbing for Change
September 27-28, 2025
On September 27-28, 2025, Team Like a Boss will be taking on an epic challenge: climbing the equivalent of Mount Everest (134 laps up and down Rabbit Hill) in just 24 hours, all in support of the ALS Society of Alberta.
As part of the Climbing for Change event, teams choose a mountain goal and climb their hearts out to raise funds for a cause close to them. We’re proud to be a charity represented in this powerful community event and grateful to everyone stepping up to support Albertans living with and affected by ALS.
Team Like a Boss is led by Lindsay, in honour of her brother Dan (who lives with ALS and is the same Dan who organized Dan’s Night to Fight earlier this year!) Team Like a Boss has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 and they’re aiming to surpass it.
“When my brother was diagnosed with ALS last October at age 42, I wanted to do everything I could to support him and help find a cure. One day his legs may no longer carry him—so I created a team for Climbing for Change to be his legs, to raise funds, and to take action against this devastating disease.”
Feeling inspired? You can join the climb or start your own Climbing for Change team in support of ALS Society of Alberta. Rally your crew, pick your mountain, and make every step count.
