On May 16, the ALS Society of Alberta was honoured to be invited for a visit to the Alberta Legislature in celebration of ALS Awareness Month. Associate Health Minister, Brandy Payne, kindly composed a declaration of June as ALS Awareness Month, and met with the Society's staff and clients to discuss the best possible advocacy for people living with and affected by ALS.
Thank you to the Government of Alberta for its commitment to the ALS cause, and thank you to Glen Jarbeau, Matt Jarbeau and Mary Thorp for taking the time to join the Society at the legislature.
