The 2016 Edmonton WALK for ALS was a great success, raising over $330,000 for the ALS Society of Alberta. This year's WALK Ambassador, John Orfino, kicked-off the WALK by cutting the ribbon and inspiring the crowd with a speech. This year also marked the first ever Team Challenge, made possible by James and Jeanie Brown, where teams were encouraged to raise more than they did in 2015. Tuckwell's Travellers won this year's trophy, as they raised $16,000 more than they did in 2015! Thank you to the Edmonton WALK Committee, sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers for making this event such a success. See you next year!
